Monster Hunter Rise

Capcom has released several new English videos for Monster Hunter Rise, providing an overview of the game (much like the recent Japanese trailer) and how the Rampage works. It also showcases some new hunt gameplay with Goss Harag. Check it all out below.

There’s also a Q&A video with director Yasunori Ichinose. He notes the free updates that will be coming post-launch, including the Hunter Rank unlock that will be coming with Chameleos (currently scheduled for April). Interestingly, there will be another update that adds the story conclusion along with new monsters. This update hasn’t received a release date yet though.

Monster Hunter Rise is slated to release on March 26th for Nintendo Switch. The PC version is currently planned to release next year. There will be a second free limited-time demo for Switch players tomorrow which features all of the previous demo’s content and adds Magnamalo as a new hunt.
