Marvel's Avengers - Hawkeye

When it comes to cosmetics, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix are spoilt for choice with Marvel’s Avengers. With multiple characters, each with decades of history of various different looks and costumes, the game can potentially have dozens upon dozens of varied cosmetic options for each playable hero. Of course, recent iterations of many of these characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been popular on a global level, so naturally, many have wondered whether their looks from the recent movies might make it into the game as well. According to Crystal Dynamics, that’s definitely a possibility.

During a recent developer stream on Twitch showing off gameplay for the upcoming Hawkeye DLC, when asked about the same in the stream’s chat by viewers, Crystal Dynamics said that it’s “very possible” that MCU skins might be added to Marvel’s Avengers (spotted by MP1st). Later, the developer added that it had nothing to announce on that front yet, but that fans should “stay tuned” for potential details.

In the same developer stream, Crystal Dynamics also reiterated that it has plans to support Marvel’s Avengers for “many years to come.” Read more on that through here.

Marvel’s Avengers is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia, and will also be releasing for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 18, the same day that Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect releases. The update will also bring several other changes and additions, such as rebalanced progression, customizable H.A.R.M. Rooms, and a campaign replay option.
