Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

Square Enix has dropped the “final” trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, showcasing more gameplay from the enhanced version along with Episode INTERmission content. It’s worth noting, however, that there are major story spoilers for the base game. These can be found from 0:02 to 0:15 and from 0:56 to 1:12 so avoid those timestamps.

Thankfully, there’s plenty of new stuff to see as well. Weiss the Immaculate is briefly seen battling Cloud and party in the Shinra Combat Simulator, which means he could be an additional challenge in the activity. Yuffie and Sonon also have more time to shine while Fort Condor, a new strategy-like mini-game, is also showcased. Ramuh also seem to be one of the new Summons, unleashing lightning attacks on the battlefield.

There are plenty of interesting boss battles as well, from a new villain that uses purple tendrils and energy to Scarlet in a custom Shinra battle armor. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is set to release on June 10th for PS5 with PS4 owners able to upgrade for free. Episode INTERmission is included with the PS5 release but PS4 owners must purchase it separately for $20 when upgrading.
