Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for Mario Golf: Super Rush, detailing its gameplay and mechanics. The emphasis is on simple controls with a Shot Gauge for deciding one’s power. By taking advantage of different shot types, it’s possible to adjust to different situations. Check it out below.

Standard Shots will send the ball straight while Curve Shots will move around obstacles during the ball’s trajectory. Spin Shots cause the ball’s position to change on landing. Players can also scan the terrain, examining its properties and the distance to the next hole. Motion controls are also supported, allowing one to mimic their golfing actions in-game.

This being by a Mario Golf title, each character has their own unique stats and abilities. Up to four players can team up online and along with the standard green courses, there’s a desert course, a course set in a volcanic region (implied to be Bowser’s terrain) and much more. Along with traditional golf, there’s Speed Golf where players hit their respective balls and then rush to its position to follow-up. Various obstacles are present and each character has their own unique Dash.

Mario Golf: Super Rush is out on June 25th for Nintendo Switch.
