Halo Infinite

While 343 Industries’ upcoming Halo Infinite isn’t due for release until next month (December 8th, to be precise), some have been suggesting that it might be shadow dropping next week- specifically, its multiplayer component. According to a couple of Twitter users who claim to have knowledge of the matter, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer component might drop on November 15th as a part of Microsoft’s 20th anniversary celebrations for Xbox. November 15th, incidentally, is also Halo’s 20th anniversary.

Twitter user HaloDotAPI has posted a picture of the game’s first multiplayer season along with a release date of November 15. The user in question claims to know “too much” about Microsoft’s plans with the game. Halo dataminer Surasia has also suggested that Halo Infinite could be releasing this month, in a reply to a tweet. Of course, it needs to be re-iterated that these are just rumours, and as such are best taken with a grain of salt.

Xbox already has plans in place for its 20th anniversary, with a special stream set to air on the day. A batch of classic Xbox and Xbox 360 games have also mysteriously appeared on the Xbox 360 marketplace, and speculation indicates they might be added to the backwards compatibility program on November 15th as well.
