Destiny 2 Xur

Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2, carrying some fairly good Exotics along with a selection of Legendary weapons. He’s hanging out in the Tower Hangar, where he will remain until the weekly reset. This week’s Exotic weapon is The Huckleberry, a primary SMG costing 29 Legendary Shards.

The Huckleberry is considered one of the best ad-clearing weapons in the game for a number of reasons. First is that holding down the trigger increases the rate of fire (along with the recoil). Kills will reload a portion of its magazine and also grant Rampage for increased damage. This is the un-nerfed version of Rampage, which means 66 percent more gun damage. With the Catalyst, kills will reload the entire magazine.

Other Exotics include Raiden Flux (Hunter chest), An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan helm) and Apotheosis Veil (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. They’re all pretty familiar at this point and offer some decent perks, even if they’re not best-in-class Exotics. The Legendary armor this week is the Swordflight 4.1 set for Hunters along with the Binary Phoenix Cloak.

Check out this week’s Legendary weapons below. All Legendary items cost 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer:

  • Dire Promise – Primary Hand Cannon
  • Enigma’s Draw – Primary Sidearm
  • False Promises – Primary Auto Rifle
  • IKELOS_SR_v1.0.2 – Energy Sniper Rifle
  • First In, Last Out – Energy Shotgun
  • Honor’s Edge – Heavy Sword
  • The Keening – Energy Sidearm
