Genshin Impact - Yae Miko

miHoYo Games’ next big update for Genshin Impact is out in just a few weeks. Update 2.5 “When the Sakura Bloom” will add a new seasonal event “Three Realms Gateway Offering”, a new five-star character in Yae Miko and new story quests for her and the Raiden Shogun. Check out the latest trailer below.

The event sees players traveling to a darkness-covered area in Enkanomiya which will continually corrode them. By using the Bokuso Box, they can resist the darkness, fight back against foes and much more. Throughout the event, unlocking waypoints and completing objectives will level the box. Along with Primogems, players can receive a new 4-star Catalyst weapon.

You’ll also have a new Trounce Domain enemy, which seems to be Raiden Ei in an appearance that calls to mind Raiden Mei’s Herrscher of Thunder form in Honkai Impact 3rd. As for Yae Miko, she’s an Electro user that’s good with providing damage over time and burst damage on demand. She’ll be available in a new Event Wish along with the Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi.

If that weren’t enough, one can create their own Domain as part of the “Divine Ingenuity” event. These can be shared and played as well so it should be interesting to see what fans come up with. Genshin Impact’s Update 2.6 goes live on February 16th – stay tuned for further details in the coming weeks.
