Far Cry 6 is crossing over with Stranger Things today in a brand new mission called The Vanishing. Available free for all players, it sees Dani infiltrating a mysterious bunker in order to venture to the Shadow Place (which is based on the Upside Down). To see how that pans out, check out 10 minutes of gameplay via IGN below.
The basic gist of the mission involves searching for some missing Yarans and Chorizo. Upon starting the mission, Dani loses their weapons so they’ll need to employ stealth in order to progress. While the rewards from the mission haven’t been revealed, expect something over-the-top (like the Rambo crossover mission).
Far Cry 6 is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia and PC. Check out our review here. In addition to free content like the Danny Trejo missions, it’s also had three paid expansions – Insanity, Control and Collapse – which focus on previous Far Cry villains.
