It’s fairly obvious when you boot the game up but there is a lot to collect in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You have Kyber Bricks, Minikits, Studs and so on, which go into unlocking upgrades for your characters or new characters entirely. For now, we’ll look at how to find all of the Datacards. These are essential for your unlockable Cheats (which differ from those that simply require a code – find out more here) and Extra Modes.

Here are the locations for all of the Datacards:

  • Mos Eisley (Tatooine)
  • Mos Espa (Tatooine)
  • Jundland Wastes (Tatooine)
  • Genosis (Stalgasin Hive)
  • Kachirho (Kashyyyk)
  • Canto Bight (Cantonica)
  • Great Temple (Yavin 4)
  • Federal District (Coruscant)
  • Uscru District (Coruscant)
  • Maz’s Castle (Takodana)
  • Niima Outpost (Jakku)
  • Sith Citadel (Exegol)
  • Crash Site (Kef Bir)
  • Ewok Village (Endor)
  • Crait Outpost (Crait)
  • Cloud City (Bespin)
  • Echo Base (Hoth)
  • Dragonsnake Bog (Dagobah)
  • Mining Complex (Mustafar)

Check out Game Guides’ video below for more details on obtaining each one. As for the Cheats and Extra Modes, they also require a certain amount of Studs on top of Datacards. Keep in mind that you don’t need a specific Datacard for a specific unlock – each requires only one Datacard. Here’s everything that can be unlocked below:

  • Studs x2 – For every Stud collected, gain twice as much. Requires one Datacard and 1 million Studs to unlock.
  • Studs x4 – For every Stud collected, gain four times as much as you normally would. Requires one Datacard and two million Studs.
  • Studs x6 – For every Stud collected, gain six times as much. Requires one Datacard and eight million Studs.
  • Studs x8 – For every Stud collected, gain eight times as much as you normally would. Requires one Datacard and 48 million Studs.
  • Studs x10 – Every Stud collected is worth ten times as much. Requires one Datacard 384 million Studs.
  • Super GNK Droid – An invisible Golden GNK droid is added to your party. Requires one Datacard and one million Studs.
  • Porg Companion – Provides a Porg companion that will fight with you. Requires one Datacard and 500,000 Studs.
  • Baguette Lightsabers – All Lightsabers are turned into baguettes. Requires one Datacard and 250,000 Studs.
  • Galaxy Rave – Galaxy Free Play becomes one big disco party with everyone dancing all of the time. Keep in mind that you can’t progress at certain points due to certain characters dancing. Also, this can’t be used alongside the Cantina Music. Requires one Datacard and 500 million Studs.
  • Television Mode – Provides an old-school, CRT filter to the screen. Requires one Datacard and 250,000 Studs, and can’t be used alongside Retro Mode.
  • Hologram Mode – All playable characters and ships are given a hologram look. Requires one Datacard and 500,000 Studs.
  • Retro Mode – Provides a retro-style effect to the screen. Requires one Datacard and 250,000 Studs to unlock.
  • GNK Civilians – All civilians are replaced with GNK droids. Requires one Datacard and 1,000,000 Studs.
  • Mumble Mode – Characters will mumble through all dialogue. Unlocked for free.
  • Comedy Weapons – Ranged weapons are replaced with more comedic items. Costs one Datacard and 250,000 Studs.
  • Rainbow Effects – Some attacks have their effects replaced with rainbow sparkles instead. Requires one Datacard and 250,000 Studs.
  • Cantina Music – Enable the Chalmun’s Cantina music from A New Hope on a continuous loop. Can’t be used at the same time as Galaxy Rave and costs one Datacard and 250,000 Studs.
  • Big Head Mode – Playable characters receive giant heads. The effect does not apply to some. Requires one Datacard and 500,000 Studs
  • Pew Pew – Ranged weapons have their projectile sound effects replaced with characters making the sounds instead. Costs one Datacard and 500,000 Studs.
  • Universal Translator – Playable characters understand every language spoken (when they otherwise wouldn’t). Requires one Datacard and 500,000 Studs.
