Destiny 2 - Guardian Games 2022

Destiny 2’s Guardian Games are back once again, allowing Titans, Hunters and Warlocks to compete and decide who is the superior class. Check out the latest trailer below which showcases the new armor and glows along with the new Legendary SMG, The Title.

Available until May 24th, this year’s event once again sees players earning medallions and depositing them at their respective podium in the Tower. Completing Vanguard Strikes, Quickplay matches in the Crucible, Gambit and Throne World activities awards low-tier medallions. But for the high-tier medallions, which are worth more, you’ll need to complete PsiOps Battlegrounds, dungeons, raids, Trials of Osiris matches and more.

There are also Training and Competitive playlists for Strikes with the latter being available every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and conferring rewards. Earn a ranking and you’ll receive buffs for the playlists. For more details on Guardian Games, head here.

Once the event concludes, Destiny 2: Season 17 will begin. Details on the season’s narrative have yet to be confirmed (though senior narrative designer Dr. Hazel Monforton insists it’s “simply phenomenal”). However it will feature several balance changes (including buffs for Glaives), a revamped Rotator system for old dungeons and raids, and more.
