Trek to Yomi

Flying Wild Hog’s Trek to Yomi recently received a launch trailer ahead of its release. But Devolver Digital has released another video, this time focusing on various “facts” about the action-adventure title. Check it out below.

Directed by Leonard Menchiari (The Eternal Castle), the single-player title is set in Edo period Japan. As a young swordsman named Hiroki, players embark on a journey of vengeance. Developed as an homage to film director Akira Kurosawa, the monochrome aesthetic and cinematic camera angles help create a more engrossing atmosphere for a samurai story.

In terms of gameplay, players will use the katana along with ranged weapons like the bow, learning new techniques and combos throughout. Though having an estimated length of four to six hours, there are three difficulty modes to play through (including an unlockable One-Hit Kill mode). Trek to Yomi is available tomorrow for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For more details, check out our feature here.
