Stray

Feline-focused adventure platformer Stray has finally received a release date, launching on July 19th for PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam. Developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive, it sees a stray cat venturing through a derelict cybercity to return to their family. Check out the latest gameplay trailer and its gorgeous visuals below.

Along with navigating rooftops, the cat can also interact with the robotic denizens of the city, embarking on boat rides through the sewers. One can also investigate the robots’ houses to find collectibles like Cat Badges (though not everyone is pleased by your presence). A stealth sequence is also showcased as the player can hide to avoid detection from drones. When spotted, they won’t hesitate to start firing.

They aren’t the only threat as some strange organic creatures can also attack the cat. There’s the tease of some bio-organic being with its numerous eyes and pulpy structures but we’ll need to wait for more details. Along with retailing separately, Stray will also be available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers at launch.
