Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted

Solar 3.0 debuted in Bungie’s Destiny 2 along with Season of the Haunted but the response has been less than ideal. Sandbox discipline lead Kevin Yanes noted the feedback and in the recent “This Week at Bungie,” the developer outlined some buffs and bug fixes coming to the Warlock and Titan Solar sub-classes with hotfix 4.1.0.2.

When using “Heat Rises,” Solar Warlocks now gain Cure x2 for themselves and their allies when consuming a grenade. Using a Healing Grenade increases this to Cure x3 while consuming a Touch of Flame Healing Grenade will also add Restoration. Icarus Dash also provides Cure when “rapidly defeating’ enemies with your Super or weapon when airborne. Finally, Celestial Fire projectiles now apply 10 Scorch stacks each, which goes up to 15 stacks with Ember of Ashes.

For Solar Titans, Burning Maul PvE damage has been increased by 25 percent. While Roaring Flames is active, uncharged melee attacks deal Solar damage while applying 30 Scorch stacks to enemies (which goes up to 40 stacks with Ember of Ashes). Consecration now takes two Fragment slots but the height of the secondary attack’s wave has been increased by 25 percent.

Hotfix 4.1.0.2 goes live on June 7th with maintenance starting at 9 AM PST. In the meantime, Bungie revealed that Arc 3.0 is “still cooking up nicely” and that more details would be revealed in a future update. Stay tuned for full hotfix notes on Tuesday.
