Gotham Knights was one of several major games to get a new gameplay trailer at Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live. WB Games Montreal’s upcoming open world action RPG has showed off gameplay for its titular knights in fragments in the past, but with this trailer, it chose to focus entirely on Dick Grayson, a.k.a. Nightwing.

From Nightwing’s traversal to the way he fights against his foes, his gameplay seems very reminiscent of how Batman plays in the Arkham games. There are some differences, of course, but those looking for some traditional Bat-like gameplay will probably find a lot of stuff to enjoy with Nightwing in the driving seat. Check out the trailer below.

Gotham Knights is launching on October 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The open world action RPG was initially announced as a cross-gen title, but PS4 and Xbox One versions were eventually dropped, with developer WB Games Montreal citing the game’s size and scope as the reason for the same. It’s also been confirmed that the game will feature no microtransactions.
