Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was released yesterday worldwide for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, ushering in Master Rank quests, new monsters, a brand new region, and much more. Despite some issues, the launch on Steam has been very. According to SteamDB, the action RPG hit an all-time peak concurrent player count of 194,459 players in the first 24 hours.

This is a fairly big jump from the base game’s Steam launch, which saw over 90,000 peak concurrent players on launch day. It’s still well below the release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on PC which had 284, 524 peak concurrent players on its first day. Nevertheless, Sunbreak is the second best-selling title on Steam currently.
