Dying Light 2 - Bloody Summer Event

Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human has a new limited-time event ongoing and it’s all about melee damage. The Bloody Summer event increases the chance of decapitating and dismembering foes with some of Hyper Mode’s rules – like stronger ragdolls and hit reactions – also present. Check out the trailer below.

During the event, players have three main goals. Chopping off one limb will net a Harper’s Token, which can be used to purchase new weapons and gear from the new Agent introduced in Chapter 1: In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner. Cutting off 300 limbs nets the Cutting Edge Axe. The final goal is a community one with the entire player base needing to slice off three million limbs to gain the Nightrunner Outfit.

To claim the Global Goal reward, players need to have a TechlandGG account and connect it to their platform of choice. Dying Light 2 Stay Human is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC with a Nintendo Switch release coming later this year. Stay tuned for more details on future events in the coming days.
