Genshin Impact - Version 2.8

The next big update for miHoYo Games’ Genshin Impact releases on July 13th. Version 2.8 “Summer Fantasia” promises new areas and stories in the Golden Apple Archipelago along with new outfits for Diluc and Fischl. Check out the latest trailers below.

The update will also add a Shikanoin Heizou, a new 4-star character who uses a Catalyst and Anemo vision. Contrary to expectations, Heizou is a melee fighter who deals additional elemental damage to foes affected by Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro damage. Heizou will also have his own Hangout Event while Diluc and Kaedehara Kazuha are also receiving some new events and stories.

The Summertime Odyssey seasonal event will also be live, bringing new events like “Reminiscent Regimen” and “Resonating Visions.” By completing different adventures, players can unlock the JoJo-esque Fischl for free. For more details, check out the Special Program for Version 2.8 below. Stay tuned for more details, including Heizou’s story video and abilities showcase, in the coming days.
