The Last of Us Part 1

We’re less than two months away from the launch of The Last of Us Part 1and in spite of that fact, there’s a great deal that we don’t know about the remake. While Sony and Naughty Dog will likely be revealing more details on it in the weeks to come, some other bits and pieces of information on the game have been trickling through from other sources.

For instance, courtesy of @PlaystaionSize – a Twitter page that tracks the PlayStation Network backend and any updates made to it – we know when pre-loading will begin for the game. According to the page, The Last of Us Part 1 will become available for pre-load a week ahead of launch, like most first party PlayStation exclusives, on August 26.

As per a previous report, the game will require a minimum of 79 GB of storage space, almost twice as much as the PS4 remaster, so it’s good that we’re getting plenty of time to pre-load the game ahead of its launch.

The Last of Us Part 1 is out for the PS5 on September 2. A PC version is also in development but doesn’t have a release date.
