Destiny 2 The Witch Queen_Vow of the Disciple

Destiny 2 continues to go strong with its content offerings and rapid rollout of new updates, but of course, Bungie – which has now officially become part of PlayStation Studios – has plenty more plans for the looter shooter in both the short term and other wise. Some of these plans, it seems, will be made clearer very soon.

Taking to Twitter, Bungie recently took to Twitter via the official Destiny page and announced a new Destiny 2 Showcase. Set for August 23, we don’t have an awful lot of details about what it’ll entail, but Bungie says you can expect to “witness what’s next”.

Of course, Bungie’s current Destiny 2 saga has two more major expansions planned over the next couple of years. Lightfall is going to be the next big expansion for the looter shooter, with The Final Shape expected to launch afterward. We’re likely going to get concrete details on the former, though whether some brief glimpses of the latter are also shown remains to be seen.

We’ll be covering the showcase when it goes live, of course, so stay tuned for all updates.
