Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon

The Puzzler’s Pack DLC for Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon has received some new content, further expanding on the Quandry Runs possible. Specter Knight and Plague Knight are now playable in the mode, each with a unique Character and Refract Challenge. Check out the trailer below to see them in action.

For instance, Specter Knight’s Character Challenge is “Moonlight” where the moon will occasionally change phases. When full, Specter Knight loses his recovery ability and transforms. For Plague Knight, the “Extra Toxic” Challenge causes monsters to have increased HP and Poison damage acts slower but persists. Any enemies defeated with the poison attack won’t reward gems so you have to be crafty.

In terms of new Relics, there’s the Super Skeleton Key which causes other keys to “burst”, and the Stick of Ram which provides more damage when charging in the same direction. The DLC is free and still in development with more content to come so stay tuned for further updates.

Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon is available for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC. For more details on other upcoming DLC, head here.
