MultiVersus

Player First Games’ MultiVersus already saw the addition of Morty Smith from Rick and Morty to the roster, but it’s not stopping there. A new tweet confirmed that Gizmo from Gremlins will be available on September 6th.

This is on top of Black Adam from DC Universe, Stripe from Gremlins and Rick Sanchez coming to the roster later in Season 1. Release dates for each haven’t been confirmed yet, though. Other content that’s still to come this season includes Classic Arcade Mode and Ranked play.

MultiVersus is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC as a free-to-play title. It launched as an open beta and had a peak concurrent player count of over 144,000 at launch on Steam. Reports indicated that it crossed 10 million players in two weeks, with the developer and publisher Warner Bros. Games confirming over 20 million players in less than a month.
