Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Bellibolt

The last trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced Iono, Levincia’s gym leader/streamer/influencer who uses Electric-Type Pokemon. She teased the reveal of her partner Pokemon, and the time has finally come. Say hello to Bellibolt, a frog-like Pokemon that can generate electricity in its belly.

This is done by expanding and contracting its body before discharging it through the two bumps on its head. Yes, those are bumps and not its eyes. While it could be seen as sluggish, Bellibolt can move quickly.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are set in the Paldea region, with the protagonist studying Naranja/Uva Academy. Embarking on a Treasure Hunt, they can embark on the Victory Road path, collecting Gym Badges and challenging the Pokemon League Champion. Alternatively, they can battle Team Star, liberating bases and beating down their leaders.

The final path involves searching for Herba Mystica and battling massive Titan Pokemon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are out on November 18th for Nintendo Switch. Head here for more details and gameplay.
