Resident Evil 4’s upcoming remake is Game Informer’s cover story for the month, which means the last few days have brought several new details on the game. Now, the outlet has uploaded an extended gameplay walkthrough that showcases over a dozen minutes of gameplay from the upcoming survival horror remake.

The walkthrough shows several chunks from the game’s fifth chapter, which sees Leon and Ashley making their way out of the church and through the cemetery before returning to the village and meeting up with Luis Sera for the first time. That, of course, is followed by an intense shootout in a cabin, which fans of the original game will remember very well. In the remake, the fight will also see players fighting against a Brute, a new enemy type being introduced in the remake.

In addition to a healthy dose of combat, the footage also shows tidbits of how Ashley has improved in gameplay, Leon collecting treasure pieces in the environments, some bits and pieces of side quests, and more. Of course, the Merchant also makes an appearance, and as expected, he brings plenty of buying options with him, from weapons to upgrades. Check out the walkthrough below for more details.

Resident Evil 4 launches on March 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC.
