The Embracer Group has amassed a massive catalogue of development studios, publishers, and IPs over the years, and it’s no secret that across the board, the company has a large number of games in development both big and small. In its latest fiscal report, it offered more details on exactly how many projects it currently has in the pipeline, and when they’re expected to launch.

The Embracer Group currently has a total of 31 AAA projects in development that it plans to release by the end of FY 2027/28 (which ends on March 31, 2028). Five of these are being worked on by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, six by Plaion, eight by Gearbox Entertainment, one by THQ Nordic, and eleven by Saber Interactive. This also includes external projects that are being co-developed by Embracer studios, including Perfect Dark and, as per reports, Fable.

Out of the aforementioned 31 titles, the company plans to release 19 of them by the end of FY 2025/26 (which ends on March 31, 2026). Starting FY 2024/25, it intends to release 7-8 AAA games every fiscal year. In total, the Embracer Group has SEK 8.2 billion (or roughly $788 million) invested in ongoing game development projects.

In the coming fiscal year (April 2023 to March 2024), the Embracer Group has four major AAA releases primed for launch, namely Dead Island 2, Payday 3, Remnant 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
