Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 remake will receive a “special demo” before the full game’s release. With the Capcom Spotlight showcase happening on March 9th at 2 PM PST, it seemed obvious that the demo would be announced at the same. Some Twitter users reported seeing a Twitch ad for the same, more or less confirming its appearance at the showcase.
However, the demo will also seemingly go live during the Capcom Spotlight, as indicated in the screenshot by Daniel S. Kennedy on Twitter. That means fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the demo, assuming the ad is legitimate. It will likely be time-limited, like the Resident Evil 2 (2019) and Resident Evil Village demos.
Resident Evil 4 remake is out on March 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Producer Hirabayashi Yoshiaki recently confirmed a day-one patch with adjustments to the rain effects based on fan feedback.
