With over 10 million pre-registrations before launch, miHoYo’s Honkai: Star Rail is looking good. It’s currently available to pre-load on PC, iOS and Android ahead of its release this week. Though there’s a separate PC client, it should also be available on the Epic Games Store.
A new trailer is also available for Seele, a five-star character who uses the Quantum element and a massive scythe to assault enemies. Though recognizable to Honkai Impact fans, this Seele grew up in Belobog’s Underworld, eventually becoming a member of Wildfire. At one point, Bronya, the Silvermane Guards’ commander, joins the fray, which is intriguing given how the faction is at odds with Wildfire.
The deeper connections between the two have yet to be revealed, but it at least seems they’re not sisters, unlike in Honkai Impact 3rd. Honkai: Star Rail launches on April 26th for PC and mobiles. It’s also coming to PS4 and PS5, though a release date hasn’t been confirmed. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
