DNF Duel - Brawler

Nexon recently announced that its DLC character for DNF Duel would be Brawler, a sub-class of the Fighter. Described as willing to do anything necessary to win, he’s set to arrive this Fall. In a new video, game director Kodani Ryosuke breaks down Brawler’s aesthetic and mannerisms while showcasing his moves.

Along with rolling some explosive barrels into an opponent and kicking sand in their eyes, Brawler can use a net to draw them close and attack with chains. He employs a Venom Mine, which inflicts a status effect. There are also needles and other tools to help players instantly turn the tide.

The development team chose Brawler due to his “Fighter-class ferocity” and dynamic combat moves. His “by any means necessary” approach translates well into the fighter, resulting in some cool combos and mix-ups.

A release date for Brawler hasn’t been announced, but he’s in the Season Pass. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks. DNF Duel is available for PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch – read our review here.
