Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human has several new features coming in the future, as outlined last week in the updated roadmap. However, a new trailer, presented by franchise director Tymon Smektala, showcases all the new content. Check it out below, courtesy of IGN.

The free updates are coming this Fall and Winter with new co-op missions, Board Quests, a Tower Raid and GRE Anomalies (which are replayable).  In terms of new mechanics, players can dismantle gear and mods while also repairing weapons. New enemy variants are being added along with the new Nightmare difficulty.

New weapon types include Knives and Polearms, elemental effects from throwables and a new weapon called the Scorpio. You can also expect options like a Bloom On/Off switch and an FOV slider for Xbox Series S. If all of that wasn’t enough, firearms will be added (though only a handgun was featured). Stay tuned for more details on release dates in the coming weeks.
