Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a month and a half away from launch, and with excitement surrounding its release continuing to build, Square Enix has offered another look at what the action RPG will offer. Along with releasing a new trailer hyping up Cloud’s imminent battle with Sephiroth, the developer has also revealed some brief new details on some of the locations you’ll be visiting in the game’s massive world, and some of the new characters that will be featured in its expanded cast.

Where the former are concerned, there’s Starboard Junon, a residential district within the fortified metropolis of Junon. Overlooking the ocean, Starboard Junon is marked by housing for Shinra personnel, high-end boutiques, and restaurants, and is currently in the midst of preparing for Rufus Shinra’s presidential inauguration parade.

Another new location is Shinra-8, a Shinra cruise ship that ferries people between the planet’s eastern and western continents, and heads for the resort town of Costa del Sol after departing from Junon. Aboard the cruise ship, players will be able to take part in a Queen’s Blood tournament, which is a card game that players will be able to play in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Coming to the characters, there is, of course, Elena, a newcomer we’ve seen a few times in past trailers. A new member of the Turks, she’s described as being “as skilled with her fists and a gun as anyone else” in the unit. Then there’s Cait Sith, whom Final Fantasy 7 fans will be very familiar with for his moogle mount and his hi-tech skills, both of which he can put to use in combat.

Screenshots showcasing combat and the aforementioned locations and characters have also been released. You can view them below. Make sure to also read up on new details on Cait Sith and Yuffie’s combat abilities.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches for PS5 on February 29.
