Dragon's Dogma 2

After the Fighter, Thief and Archer, the Mage Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 has received a dedicated trailer. Capable of wielding the elements and other mystic arts, they can pelt enemies from afar with projectiles or cast spells to buff their allies. Check it out below.

The offense-minded can also channel streams of fire against enemies, conjure lightning bolts and send a wave of ice that expands explosively. Given some of the more ridiculous things that Mages could do in the first game, the more powerful spells have likely yet to be revealed. It should also be interesting to see what the new Vocation Maisters can impart.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 launches on March 22nd for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. It will have an uncapped frame rate, though Capcom has yet to mention whether this applies to all platforms. A demo could be on the way based on updates to the title’s Steam backend, but an official announcement has yet to be made. Stay tuned for more details and updates in the meantime.
