The Rogue Prince of Persia Will be Announced on April 10, Releasing in Early Access Next Month – Rumour

The roguelite title will be announced at the Triple-i Initiative showcase on April 10, it's been claimed.

After enjoying critical acclaimed with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, it looks like Ubisoft is already gearing up to take the next step forward for the franchise. A recent report by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson claimed that the company had partnered with Dead Cells developer Evil Empire for development of roguelite title The Rogue Prince of Persiaand that it was set to launch in early access for Steam sometime this year.

In an update to his original report, Henderson has now claimed that the game will be revealed on April 10 at the Triple-i Initiative. The Triple-i Initiative is an indie-focused showcased organized by Evil Empire, which will also feature other notable indie studios like Mega Crit, Heart Machine, poncle, and more.

Following its announcement, the game will allegedly release not long afterward, with Henderson claiming its early access launch on Steam is set for May 14. How long the game will remain in early access and how long it’ll be before it launches for other platforms remains to be seen.
