With Sony announcing its next State of Play for tomorrow and Summer Game Fest coming next week, Capcom could release the second trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds soon. This is according to Dealabs’ billbil-kun, who previously reported on God of War Ragnarok’s rumored PC announcement.
He notes that the trailer will arrive “soon” and expects it to occur “within the next ten days.” While it could appear during the State of Play, it may also be a “little later.” Of course, the Summer Game Fest showcase is on June 7th, which fits that time frame. Capcom is also confirmed as a partner for the same, so it could very well happen there.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto previously said it offers a “new level of detailed creatures and ecosystems” and that the team is “using the power of the PlayStation 5 to the fullest.” He also touted more details this Summer, so there may be more information following the second trailer drop.
