A true successor to Alien: Isolation may not be anywhere on the horizon (that we know of), but fans of the IP will get their horror gaming fix in some form soon nonetheless. Survious’ single-player first-person action horror title Alien: Rogue Incursion was announced earlier this year, and now, it’s been given a specific release date.

Survios has announced that Alien: Rogue Incursion is going to launch on December 19, and will retail for the price of $39.99. Meanwhile, a deluxe edition will also be available at $49.99, and will include bonus in-game cosmetics. Pre-orders are open for both editions, with cosmetics inspired by the newest Alien film, Alien: Romulus, confirmed as pre-order bonuses.

A new release date announcement trailer showcases new glimpses of gameplay, including several encounters against Facehuggers and Xenomorphs, with the latter in particular looking suitably damage-resistant and terrifying. Check it out below.

Upon its release, Alien: Rogue Incurious will be available on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 3, and SteamVR. Check out some more gameplay through here and here.
