Blizzard Entertainment’s first paid expansion for Diablo 4, Vessel of Hatred, goes live next week at 4 PM PDT on October 7th. However, pre-loads are currently available worldwide for PC players via Battle.net. They’ll go live on October 5th, 4 PM PDT, for Xbox and PlayStation players, while Steam users will have to wait for it to become available at the time of its worldwide launch.

The Vessel of Hatred campaign is available for both Eternal and Seasonal Realm characters (with existing characters also supported). If you’ve finished the base game’s Prologue on a character, all subsequently created characters can skip the campaign and go straight to the expansion.

A massive update will also be available alongside the expansion, revamping the difficulty tiers, max level, Paragon system, and more. It’s worth noting that any existing characters above level 51 will be level 50, and one of the new monster families in Nahantu appears in the seasonal content. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out our feature for everything you should know.
