Call of Duty Black Ops 6

After what was an incredibly packed month in September, October is looking like it’s going to be equally busy, with major releases like Silent Hill 2, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and others vying for attention. Another major game lined up for launch this month is, of course, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and to continue building up the hype surrounding its looming release, Activision has showcased a new launch trailer.

The trailer focuses primarily on the upcoming shooter’s single-player campaign, which will be set in the 1990s during the Gulf War, with a number of familiar characters also returning, including the likes of Black Ops Cold War’s Russel Adler and series mainstay Frank Woods. Check out the trailer below. The game will, of course, also feature a Zombies component and PvP multiplayer, both of which we can expect to continue hearing more about in the lead-up to release later this month.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on October 25 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
