Stellar Blade x NieR Automata

Shift Up has announced that Stellar Blade’s collaboration with PlatinumGames’ NieR: Automata goes live on November 20th. It brings Emil into the world, offering 11 cosmetic items based on Yoko Taro’s action RPG. These include 2B and A2 outfits for protagonist Eve, a 9S outfit for Lily, and more.

Photo mode is also getting some updates with new poses and filters. Outside of the collab, Eve will get four other outfits and a new accessory (which alters a specific mode unlocked later in the game). There are also quality-of-life features like selecting songs when making camp and removing Eve’s ponytail entirely in Ponytail Length.

French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, and Italian will also have lip-synch support. Meanwhile, Auto-Targeting and Ballistics Correction have been added to the insta-kill skills from enemies, leading to “more exciting” battles.

Stellar Blade is available for PS5 – check out our review. It’s sold over one million units as of June, with the developer considering a PC version.
