IO Interactive’s Hitman World of Assassination Anniversary Edition hasn’t received any new details since its announcement at the IOI Showcase. However, it seems to be on track for next month with Dealabs’ billbil-kun reporting an October 17th release.

Alongside a physical copy of World of Assassination (which still requires internet access), owners will receive The Undying, The Splitter, The Banker and The Drop DLCs. The pack also includes a lenticular card celebrating 25 years of the franchise, all wrapped up in a Chess Master 3D Shadowbox. Unfortunately, the pricing is unknown, and IO Interactive hasn’t clarified what it means by the lack of legacy titles.

Either way, players will receive access to locations across all three titles in the contemporary trilogy and the rogue-lite Freelancer Mode. Stay tuned for an official announcement from the developer in the meantime.

Hitman World of Assassination is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch and, more recently, Nintendo Switch 2. Check out our review of the latter here.
