Developer Straight4 Studios and publisher Giants Software have released a new trailer for upcoming sim racing game Project Motor Racing, this time around focusing on its multiplayer features. The trailer, which you can check out below, boasts of quite a few features, including the game’s online ecosystem.

Along with this, the studio has confirmed that there will be no additional payments or subscriptions that players will need to make to access the multiplayer. Rather, players will get complete access to the online modes on day one of the game’s release.

Some of the multiplayer features of Project Motor Racing include monthly championship events with weekly track rotations and scheduled race times, complete with crossplay enabled, two leaderboard modes—Factory Driver Challenges and Endurance Hall Events. Both of these modes have been designed to mimic real-world racing, with the former focusing on real-world lap times while the latter focuses on long-distance races.

Project Motor Racing will also allow for custom multiplayer lobbies where players can host their own races, with complete control over the available cars, tracks and rules. For more casual players, the title will also feature 15-minute casual race events that are designed around being welcoming to newcomers while also offering quick experiences for veterans, complete with diverse playlists and track rotations. For players who want to compete more seriously, there will also be ranked racing, complete with structured championships with different divisions and per-class ranked grids.

“No passes. No rentals. No subscriptions,” said Straight4 Studios CEO Ian Bell in a press release. “[Project Motor Racing] gives you full online racing on day one, right out of the box — built for drivers who value clean, hard competition over complicated paywalls and qualification hurdles.”

Along with this, the developer has also confirmed six new car brands, and seven new cars that will be coming to Project Motor Racing. The new brands coming to the raicng sim are Acura, Chevrolet, Mazda, Mercedes-AMG, Nissan and Toyota. Some of the new confirmed cars include 2022 Acura NSX GT3 Evo 22, 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, 2017 Mazda MX-5 Spec, 1991 Mazda 787B, 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT3, 2023 Nissan Z GT4, and 2023 Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo.

Seabring International Raceway has also been confirmed as one of the tracks that will be available across the various game modes in both single-player and multiplayer in Project Motor Racing. The race course is one of the oldest continuously-operated tracks in the US, and features long straights as well as technical sectors.

Project Motor Racing is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and is slated for release on November 25. Back in August, the title got a trailer showcasing some of its weather effects, and how they will affect a race track over the course of a single race. The studio had also previously confirmed a line-up of cars under Porsche’s umbrella that will be available in the game, along with two new eras of motorsport—GT1 and Group C. While you’re at it, also check out the trailer that was released all the way back in April.
