We’re as happy to tell you that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is finally here. There’s a new trailer out to mark the launch, and it’s a showcase of everything we know and love about the game.
The remaster’s visuals are on full display, as are details about the story we’re not going to spoil for you in case this is your first time with the classic. Know that it’s going to take you to places you’ll love even as others will haunt you long after you roll the credits. Then again, nothing’s stopping you from getting lost and ignoring the story for as long as humanly possible.
Of course, this one’s a comprehensive package just like what’s on offer on other platforms, with all of the game’s content and expansions – including Knights of the Nine and The Shivering Isles included. That’s definitely well worth your time and money, as this one could keep you blissfully unaware of the world around you once you dive into it, and keeps you coming back for more with ease.
We thought quite highly of it in our review, although we did acknowledge flaws that have plagued other versions in the months after. Nevertheless, this one’s worth a shot if you’ve never played it before.
