Credit where it’s due for Rebel Wolves – after seeing mixed responses to the lack of 60 FPS support for The Blood of Dawnwalker on consoles, it responded quickly to affirm its inclusion. Performance Mode will be available at launch through a day-one patch, but if you’re keen to see what it looks like, an updated gameplay trailer is available.

Essentially the same as its last trailer, except with Performance Mode footage added, it runs at a relatively smooth 60 frames per second and dynamic 4K across Xbox Series X, PS5, and PS5 Pro (Xbox Series S only supports 30 FPS). You can definitely spot some blemishes on the base PS5 and Xbox Series X, including mild pop-in and less sharp shadows. Otherwise, it runs quite well at this stage.

We’ll have to wait and see how the full release fares when it arrives on September 3rd, so stay tuned. It will also be available for PC and promises a lengthy adventure of around 50 hours to complete. How you go about accomplishing this is completely up to you – it’s possible to skip entire swathes of content depending on the approach.
