Arc System Works has released update 1.003 for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls on PS5 and PC, introducing a fresh outfit for Wolverine based on Insomniac’s upcoming title. You can equip it during fights and as an online lobby avatar. Players can also choose from eight color variations for each version.
It also introduces a collection of stability, matchmaking and gameplay fixes. Online play has received some attention. Ranked and Casual Matches now include a Match Area option, giving players more control over the region used when searching for opponents. Arcadia Rumble’s network processing has also been adjusted to improve stability, while a problem that could leave replacement CPU fighters unresponsive after a disconnect has been fixed.
Elsewhere, the patch tackles several crashes across PS5 and PC, including one tied to certain battle transitions. PC users also get fixes for a Windows Update-related crash and excessive Steam platform update processes.
Gameplay-wise, Arc System Works has corrected an issue involving Peni Parker’s grounded Link Attack that could leave opponents unable to move. There are also fixes to replay display problems, badge progression issues and network compatibility indicators.
