The build-up to Grand Theft Auto 6’s launch continues as Game Informer kicks off its coverage for what’s inarguably the biggest media event of the year (sorry Avengers: Doomsday). The latest issue is out now and includes tons of new details along with 12 new screenshots.
Thanks to Insider Gaming, we get to see a few confirmed activities first-hand, starting with hunting. Jason is seen in the wilderness with a quad-bike and a rifle on his back, staking out some deer from afar (or taking in the impressive god rays, you be the judge). Another image showcases an impressive spread of avian wildlife in a swamp, with the odd deer running through.
There’s also a shot of Jason with a baseball bat on his shoulder, an open cash register and a clearly unconscious shopkeeper in the back. Masks are fairly prominent, whether it’s our main man pulling out a pistol to confront approaching bikers or Lucia skulking behind a barrel with an AR, looking to eavesdrop on a deal in progress. And yes, as promised, we can see a hint of the “advanced” weather system in the final shot with a thunderstorm in the background.
Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Stay tuned for more details – and hype – in the coming weeks.
