A Fifth Mystery Game Will be Showcased at Xbox Developer_Direct – Rumour

Xbox Developer_Direct '24

Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Developer_Direct stream is looking like it’s going to be a packed one. The likes of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Avowed, and MachineGames’ Indiana Jones are confirmed for the same (with the latter set to receive over 10 minutes of new details), while the smaller yet equally intriguing Ara: History Untold will also get the spotlight.

But is there going to be anything else beyond the four aforementioned titles that have been officially confirmed for the showcase? As per a report published by Insider Gaming, there is. The outlet has claimed that a fifth mystery title will also be showcased at the upcoming Developer_Direct.

What that fifth title will be is something that outlet hasn’t gone into. Might we be looking at a showing for a previously announced title like Towerborne or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (both of which are due out this year), or will we instead get a completely new announcement? Leaks earlier in the month suggested that Double Fine Productions’ next game would be announced at the showcase, so there’s that.

Whatever it is, we know it won’t be shadow dropped, as Microsoft has confirmed that all titles shown at the event will be released “later”.
