Microsoft finally announced a date for its next Xbox Developer_Direct, and it’s a little over a week away. Along with first-party titles like Ara: History Untold, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and Avowed receiving new details and deep dives, it will feature the first gameplay trailer for MachineGames’ Indiana Jones.

However, that’s not all. It will receive over ten minutes of “game and developer insights” overall. Players will learn about the setting and story (an original tale by Bethesda’s Todd Howard, who is an executive producer on the project), how they’ll control Indy, and other details. The official title will also presumably be revealed.

Rumors indicate that the action-adventure title will have first and third-person gameplay, while Todd Howard called it a “unique mash-up” that does many “different things.” Unlike Marvel’s Blade or The Outer Worlds 2, Indiana Jones is officially confirmed to be exclusive to Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Stay tuned for more details on the title when the Xbox Developer_Direct ’24 airs on January 18th at noon PT.
