There are all kinds of different RPG titles in the market. However, what made Wild Arms unique is that the game focuses on an American western theme. That’s something you don’t see very often in the RPG market and oddly enough it completely works with the Wild Arms series. Media Vision released three Wild Arm titles to the PlayStation 2 and each has a similar setting and gameplay mechanics.

Wild Arms takes place on a fantasy planet called Filgaia and while the setting is always western theme, each title has its own unique story and continents. Within this world, guns are ancient and not sought after as they only bring destruction but use of these weapons became integral to each characters’ mission from the Wild Arms installments.
