Agent Trademark Renewed by Take Two Interactive (Yet Again)

Rockstar's spy-based action title continues to elude us.

It feels like forever Rockstar Games announced that it was working on a PlayStation 3-exclusive action adventure title called Agent. Since the initial announcement, we’ve heard next to nothing about the game save for some leaked concept art and Rockstar expressing interest in finally delivering it.

Of course, none of that gives us any indication as to when the game will finally arrive. Not even a recent trademark renewal by publisher Take Two Interactive convinces us that the game will be re-revealed at E3 2014. At this point, it’s easier to be skeptical than to hope against hope. It’s not like Take Two renewing trademarks is out of place or anything.

Currently, Rockstar Games is pegged to announce Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC, Xbox One and PS4 sometime in the coming months. This follows GTA 5 shipping more than 33 million copies worldwide since its release in September last year for PS3 and Xbox 360. Stay tuned for more details as E3 approaches.
