Plenty of Alan Wake 2 gameplay has been showcased of late, with Remedy Entertainment ratcheting up the hype surrounding the game in the lead-up to its launch, which is now less than a month away. Now, the developer has released another short gameplay clip that focuses on something pretty specific.
In Alan Wake 2, both protagonists – Saga Anderson and Alan Wake himself – will be able to dive into their subconscious in different ways, which will be tied to making progress in the story. While Saga’s subconscious room, so to speak, is called the Mind Place, for Alan, it’s called the Writer’s Room- which is what this new gameplay clip focuses in.
In the Writer’s Room, among other things, players will find the Plot Board, where Alan will be able to connect different things together in order to be able to change the environments of the twisted realm known as the Dark Place. Check out the video below for a glimpse of what that will look like.
Alan Wake 2 launches on October 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
