Alone in the Dark

Pieces Interactive’s Alone in the Dark is out next month for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC after delays, and serves as a reboot for the legendary horror series. Set in the 1920s, it sees investigator Edward Carnby venturing to Derceto Manor with Emily Hartwood to investigate her uncle’s mysterious disappearance. However, strange things are afoot.

Aside from the horrors that await in the mansion, players will also encounter its different residents. Depending on the chosen protagonist, their reactions are different. Each has exclusive levels and different perspectives on the story, so it’s worth playing the game again as another character for the complete narrative.

Alone in the Dark is available on March 20th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out our interview with THQ Nordic associate producer Andreas Schmiedecker for more details. You can also check out some more gameplay here or find out how to use character models from the 1992 classic here.
