Devil May Cry Reference
It is only natural that there will be some Devil May Cry references in Resident Evil games, after all it’s one of Capcom’s babies and it is a treasured one at that. In Resident Evil, if the character manages to first fully upgrade the Ithica shotgun and then buy the Hydra, they will get a gun in action. The player who is quite familiar with Devil May Cry will notice that this gun is a reference to the sidearm of Dante in the series and so is the way that Chris uses it to aim.
