The Resident Evil franchise is one of the most recognized horror franchises in the history of video games. The game itself has managed to inspire artists, producers, directors and writers to come up with many ideas for movies, series and games. In fact many of the zombie movies, and TV series were inspired from the Resident Evil franchise, heck I bet the whole franchise is responsible for the zombie movement we been having over the past couple of years.

The games have given us many memorable characters and stories as well as many awesome memories. As of 2012, the Resident Evil series has sold 50 million units worldwide and it has become Capcom’s biggest ever monopoly in terms of sales and marked the start and spread of the “survival horror” genre in many forms of media.

Frank West’s Voice (Dead Rising Protagonist)

For those of you who are unaware, Frank West is the main protagonist of Dead Rising and Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop with cameo appearances in Dead Rising 2: and Dead Rising 3. Due to his many appearances in the Dead Rising franchise his popularity has caused him to be referenced in many other video games. After his initial appearance in 2006 he makes an appearance in Resident Evil 4 and 6 when you play as Chris, and in Resident Evil 4, the player can play as Frank West and kill scores of zombies.
